Cookie policy.
Last updated: 19 September 2026
This page explains what cookies salonijo.com uses and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains everything else we do with personal information.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site remember something between page loads — your language choice, for instance. Some cookies last only until you close the tab; others persist for a set period.
The same rules apply to similar technologies such as localStorage and pixels, and where we use
those we list them below too.
2. Our approach
We use as few cookies as we can. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not allow third parties to track you across other websites from here, and we do not sell or share what we learn.
3. What we use
Today, salonijo.com does not set any cookies of its own, and does not use localStorage,
sessionStorage or any analytics, advertising or tracking technology. There is no session
cookie, no CSRF token, no locale cookie and no analytics ID — the site has no user accounts and no
tracking, so none of these currently exist.
Strictly necessary
If we ever need a cookie for the site to function — a security token on a form, for instance — it will appear in a table here before it ships, described accurately, with its purpose and expiry. None exist today.
Analytics
Not in use. If we add analytics in the future, this section will name the provider, list what it sets, and — because that would be a non-essential cookie — nothing will run before you have agreed to it.
Embedded content
Some pages embed content from other services — Google Maps on the contact page, video where we use it. When that content loads, the provider may set its own cookies, which are governed by their policy and not ours.
We load embedded content only after you interact with it where we can, so nothing third-party is set simply because you visited a page.
| Provider | Where | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google Maps | Contact page, "Get directions" | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Instagram / Meta | Footer link only — no embed, no cookie set unless you click through | privacycenter.instagram.com |
4. Your choices
There is nothing to choose today — we do not set any non-essential cookies, so there is no banner and nothing to opt in or out of. If that changes, this page changes on the same day, and a choice will appear here: accept or decline, one click, equally easy either way.
5. Controlling cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, independently of anything we offer. Every major browser has this under Settings → Privacy. Blocking all cookies will break parts of most websites, including the forms on this one, should we ever set one.
6. If you do nothing
Nothing — there is currently no banner and no choice to make. This section describes what happens once one exists.
7. Changes
If we add or remove a cookie, we update this page and the date at the top. Where a change involves a new non-essential cookie, we ask for your consent again.
