The brief we hear in the UAE
Polished, contemporary and internationally benchmarked, often designed by a European or American studio. Hotel guest rooms with seamless integrated joinery, penthouse residences with statement stone, and lobby and F&B seating that has to look immaculate and take relentless use.
Designing for the climate
Intense heat, coastal humidity and salt-laden air. Interiors run continuous cooling, so timber construction is engineered for movement and fully sealed. For terraces, pool decks and beach clubs we specify teak and thermally-modified timber, 316 stainless fixings, powder-coated aluminium and solution-dyed acrylic upholstery over quick-dry foam.
Delivering to site
Consignments are crated for heat and humidity in transit, shipped with full documentation for UAE customs, and installed by our own travelling supervisors working to the contractor's schedule. All contract seating is supplied with EN 1021 / BS 5852 fire certification as required.
