Working in the Democratic Republic of the Congo means designing for a genuinely tropical climate and a long supply chain — and doing both from the start. We have delivered furniture to Kinshasa, and we build every project there around heat, humidity and the realities of freight, so the piece that arrives is the piece that was drawn.
The brief we hear in the Congo
International-standard hospitality and high-end residential — hotel and embassy interiors, executive offices and private homes for a client base that travels widely and expects a European level of finish and comfort.
Designing for the tropics
Constant high humidity and heat are the defining constraints. We select stable, well-seasoned species, build with maximum movement allowance, and seal every surface — including undersides and backs — against moisture. Upholstery uses mould-resistant treatments; anything for a veranda or garden is specified as full outdoor furniture with quick-dry foam and solution-dyed cloth.
Delivering to site
Every element is over-built for handling, dry-assembled and inspected in the workshop, then crated with desiccant protection for the sea and road journey. We manage freight and customs end to end and send supervisors to run the installation, so the standard set in Amman is the standard delivered in Kinshasa.
